Deadline to Register to Vote or Change Your Party Affiliation for the 2024 Primary Election

Pasco County FL – Brian E. Corley, Supervisor of Elections, announces Monday, July 22nd is the deadline to register to vote or change your party affiliation for the August 20th Primary Election.  

All three elections’ offices will be open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with extended hours on Saturday, July 20th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Monday, July 22nd until 7:00 p.m. at the following locations: East Pasco Government Center, 14236 6th St, Suite 200, Dade City; West Pasco Government Center, 8731 Citizens Dr., Suite 110, New Port Richey; Central Pasco Professional Center, 4111 Land O' Lakes Blvd., Room 105, Land O' Lakes.    

Pursuant to Section 101.021, Florida Statutes, Florida is a closed primary state, which means the candidate choices on your ballot will be candidates of the same party affiliation.  Nonpartisan races such as judges and school board will be on all ballots.  Party changes must be made by the book closing date, July 22nd and may be changed online at https://www.pascovotes.gov/ovr or on a voter registration application.  

Voter registration applications may be mailed to the elections’ office at PO Box 300, Dade City, FL 33526 and must be postmarked no later than July 22nd.
  
Voters are encouraged to ensure their voter registration is up-to-date, and if voting by mail, that a current signature is on file.  Visit PascoVotes.gov to view a sample ballot, check your registration status, to request a vote-by-mail ballot, access a voter registration application, update your signature, update your address, or view early voting times, dates, locations, and wait times.
